PREREQUISITES: GRIDSMART Processors MUST first be updated to 22.1.3 or later.


CRITICAL NOTE ABOUT THE UPDATE: This update will take less than 10 minutes to complete. It includes both low-level firmware updates as well as security updates to the underlying operating system. Upon reboot, it may take several minutes for the system to start up while the operating system updates are applied, with both the STATUS and CAMSTAT LEDs flashing during this time.


DO NOT DISRUPT THE SYSTEM DURING THIS TIME.


When the update is complete, it will be indicated in two ways:

  • The phase LEDs on the front of the processor will all turn green.

  • The Web App displays a progress bar during the update that will show that the update has completed and the system is rebooting.


NEW: Adds Wrong Way Driving detection as a feature. This allows the ability to set up wrong way driving detection zones on the bell camera. Users have the ability to receive email alerts when the wrong way zone is activated.

NEW: Modified the volume exceeded alert functionality to include a 1 minute interval option and will send an alert for all occurrences where volume exceeds the user set threshold.

IMPROVEMENT: Improves issue where vehicles detected in Advance camera could make more than one zone activation.

IMPROVEMENT: Improves issue where vehicle detection could be impacted by shadows. 

FIX: Relocates the hostname input field to the “Network” section under settings so the user will have access to all network related settings in one area. 

FIX: Includes a permanent fix for an issue where the log files were not rotated out after a 7 day period on the GS3 and would exceed storage limits. This was causing some users issues where the GS3 became unresponsive and would get stuck in a boot loop. FIX: Resolves a problem that could cause occasional restarts of tracking system due to excessive memory usage.

FIX: Resolves a problem that caused some cameras to fail to restart properly in certain nighttime lighting conditions.

FIX: Fixes a bug that prevented the GS3 from rebooting all software during a soft reboot.
