Description: GS3s running 22.1 or 22.1.1 will fail to initialize the internal cell modem on boot, which causes the modem to never connect to GRIDSMART Cloud.


This issue can be verified by opening the Web App (formerly Device Manager) and navigating to Diagnostics and checking the following two screens:


The Overview tab (default view of the Diagnostics page) will show Modem Type as "N/A" and Signal Strength as "No Signal"



The Modem tab in the Diagnostics view will show the following information.
